Keats The Musical Announcement

To commemorate the bicentenary of John Keats' death, Keats House in London has invited composer Álvaro Nascimento Vieira to present songs from an upcoming musical about Keats’ life in an exclusive event as soon as the pandemic is over.  The incredible poetic legacy, tragedy and other fascinating events of Keats' short life inspired Vieira to begin this ambitious project, with every arrangement written to accompany Keats' original work and with the poet's life story as the plot.  Fast forward ten years, and this passion project has rapidly evolved into something far greater, with Keats lovers across globe uniting in support, including historians, musicians, West End performers, and even other poets.  You can listen to the music and learn more by visiting the website, and by following Keats The Musical on Spotify and social media.
